One of my all-time favorite sports to watch, basketball has evolved into more than a game. It’s pushed the boundaries and has become a spectacle due to new schemes, a thriving push for more 3-pointers, and length centers that can perform at levels that a guard can. Here are three players that I admire.
Kobe Bryant
Kobe is a name that needs no introduction. Even those who do not follow the game of basketball will recognize the great Kobe Bryant. With five championship rings under his belt and hailed as a Laker legend, his iconic performances and gritty work ethic have transformed him into one of the greatest players of all time. He is easily one of the most impressive athletes to ever step foot on the court.
Patrick Ewing
Patrick Ewing is an NBA legend who played for the Seattle Supersonics, New York Knicks, and the Orlando Magic. Although he may have lacked the flash of Michael Jordan, his efficiency and consistency have turned him into one of the most productive players to have ever played basketball.
Larry Bird
Larry Bird is another NBA big man that I admire. Primarily playing for the Boston Celtics for over a decade, Bird helped bring three championships to the city and is widely regarded as one of the best in the business. His athleticism and passion for the sport transcended the sport as we know it.
